How many Porta Potties do I need?

FOR EVENTS:

A general guideline is that 1 toilet should serve 50 people for 4 hours while remaining a fresh and dignified experience. If your event is serving alcohol we strongly suggest increasing your toilet capacity by about 20%

FOR WORK SITES:

1 Toilet should last 10 employees through a 40 hour work week while maintaining freshness. Extra pump outs can always be scheduled as needed.

Why can I smell my Black Tank?

Well, because it’s full of waste. Even with regular dumping, waste can accumulate on the sides of your tank. We recommend flushing your tank with water every 2-3 months.

Your toilet should work to keep odours inside the tank. The seal in the bottom of the toilet requires a small amount of water to help creation suction and become airtight. Sometimes in older RV’s the rubber in these seals deteriorates and needs to be replaced to keep your space smelling fresh.

How Big is my Septic Tank?

An average house is usually 1000 gallons and will take 2 trips to empty. If your home is particularly small or old you may only have 500 gallons, and if your house is a new build with 4 or more bathrooms it could be 1500 - 2000 gallons.
